2. Purity and Assay Risk
Gold and gold-bearing materials can differ in purity and composition. HKKO Gold may weigh, test, assay, melt, or refine gold before final valuation. Preliminary estimates can differ from final assay or recovery results, and the final transaction value may differ from an initial estimate. The applicable price is determined under the transaction terms and HKKO Gold testing and valuation procedures.
3. Buying and Selling Risk
The purchase price of gold may differ from its later resale price. Sale proceeds may depend on market conditions, purity, weight, premiums or discounts, refining considerations, transaction size, and the agreed terms. Gold is not guaranteed to be immediately convertible into cash at an expected price.
4. Counterparty Risk
Some services involve buyers, sellers, or other independent parties. Verification and compliance procedures cannot eliminate all counterparty risk. A counterparty may fail to pay, deliver gold, provide accurate information, or fulfil contractual obligations. Review transaction terms before proceeding.
5. Payment and Settlement Risk

7. Gold Source and Ownership Risk

Gold services may be subject to law and regulation in Ghana and other jurisdictions. HKKO Gold may conduct KYC, AML, source-of-funds, source-of-gold, sanctions, and transaction-monitoring checks. Transactions may be delayed, restricted, suspended, or declined where required by law, regulation, or compliance procedures.
9. International Transaction Risk
International transactions can involve customs requirements, import and export rules, shipping delays, documentation requirements, currency restrictions, and regulatory changes. Transaction and shipping arrangements determine responsibility for transport, insurance, customs, and related matters.
10. Currency Risk
